Through this three (3) hours training, crew members will receive emergency techniques and advice considering special flight conditions such as the exiguity of the cockpit and cabin, numerous passengers, available emergency equipment on aircraft and time consuming delays to reach further help (hypothermia).
By means of a lecture and workshop, trainers will be familiarized with emergency procedures and techniques for evacuations on water (ditching). In compliance with the actual and updated regulations, this type of training is valid for a period of (3) years under the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) of Transport Canada and (1) year under the Europeans Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA). Meanwhile, Aero-Formatech recommends an annual training for everyone.
